Cowboy Mounted Shooting is one of the most exciting and fastest growing equine sports in the world.
Peach State Mounted Shooters offers several clinics throughout the year.  At these clinics, potential members can learn about this sport, and ride through practice courses.
   You do not have to bring your own horse (or even own a horse). We can provide safe, gentle, seasoned horses for you to learn with. Please feel free to bring your own horse.  If you would like any help we will have have experienced riders and shooters at these clinics.  These riders will be available to ride your horse.  They will help you get started conditioning your horse to the course objects, and the sound of the gunfire. We can also loan you guns and holsters to let you try out the sport at these clinics!
   Cowboy Mounted Shooting is fun for the whole family. Regardless of your shooting or horsemanship skills, you’ll still have a blast. Children of every age can participate.  Any child younger than 13 years old may not shoot from horseback.  Cowboy Mounted Shooting is structured so that the beginning rider and skilled horseman or marksman can fit in.
